Forbes: Potatin loses position of Russia’s richest businessman
MOSCOW, Feb 25 (PRIME) -- Vladimir Potanin, CEO of metals giant Norilsk Nickel, lost his position of Russia’s richest businessman to be replaced by steel producer Severstal’s CEO Alexei Mordashov and his family, according to the Forbes Real-Time rating released late on Wednesday.
Mordashov’s fortune is valued at U.S. $29.2 billion, and Potanin’s at $28.9 billion, down by $1.1 billion.
Norilsk Nickel shares fell during three days after roof collapse at the company’s plant.
